Review process

  1. Formal review

The Program Committee checks that the paper follows the template, length, language and anonymization before sending it to review.

  2. Peer review

Each paper is evaluated by 3 reviewers without knowing the authors' identity, and without the authors knowing theirs.

  3. Decision

With the evaluations in hand, the Program Committee decides: accepted, accepted with corrections, or rejected.

  4. Camera ready

Authors incorporate the requested corrections and submit the final version of the paper.

  5. Oral presentation

Presenting the work during CIIS 2026 is mandatory for the authors of accepted papers.

  6. Final evaluation and selection

Among the papers presented, the best evaluated are selected for consideration by the Ingeniare journal (indexed in Scopus and Scielo-Chile).
